LOVE means different things to different people. It depends on what family and culture you grew up in. The Greeks have 4 different words for love.
Eros meaning romantic, sexual and passionate.
Agape meaning selfless and unconditional.
Philia describes the love of friendship, loyalty, and shared interests.
Storge is the love between family, of deep attachment and natural affection.
Belonging is one of our basic human needs. Without this need being met, most of us do not thrive, let alone survive. In 1948, psychologist Abraham Maslow came up with a hierarchy of needs theory. It states that we must have our primal and basic needs met before we can satisfy our higher social, intellectual, and spiritual needs. If we try, which we do, we can end up with longer-term psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and chronic illness.

The full moon in Leo this month has been big, full, and firey energy. I was at the beach last night at sunset, it was glassy and gorgeous, the moon slowly rising, glowing a soft gold through the hazy clouds over the city. Some of you may have embraced the driving energy that Leo offers, while for some it may have been overwhelming. Leo asks us to be courageous, to step forward and to take action towards our heart’s deepest desires.
