Release, Realign, Receive
As we approach the end of 2025, it is a beautiful time to pause, not to judge the year, but to gently feel it.
I started the year feeling strong, but in September had the dreaded flu, along with the peri-menopause, has set me back a few months. It has been difficult to slow down, to gently honour and nurture myself, body, mind and soul, when there is so much I want to do.
You know what I mean.
This is the embodied work I do with people, and I had to once again do the inner work with myself. Resting, releasing, receiving and realigning. Coming home to myself in a gentle way, supported by loved ones and amazing wellness practitioners.
Of course the inner work of connecting with myself is a daily ritual, one I love and cherish. It heals me, and lifts me up. Raising my consciousness and raising my vibration.
So before rushing into new goals or resolutions, I invite you to slow down and honour what this year has asked of you, shaped in you, and revealed to you.
Three reflection questions for the close of 2025
Take a few quiet moments with these, journaling if you can, or simply letting the answers rise from your body rather than your mind.

What did this year teach me about my energy, my limits, and my needs?
Where did I honour myself, and where did I override myself?

What emotional patterns am I ready to release as this year closes?
(Overgiving, guilt, urgency, self-doubt, survival mode, old roles…)

What do I want to feel more of in 2026; in my body, my relationships, and my inner world?
Not what you want to do, but how you want to be.
There are no right answers. Only honest ones.
A simple energy release & recalibration process
You might like to do this in the evening, with soft lighting or a candle.

Sit or lie comfortably and place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Take three slow breaths, letting your body settle.

Bring to mind the past year; not the details, just the feeling tone.
Notice where it lives in your body. No fixing. Just noticing.

On each exhale, imagine releasing anything you no longer wish to carry forward, emotional weight, tension, old stories, unspoken grief, or fatigue.
Picture it gently dissolving, like mist lifting.

Now imagine fresh energy arriving with your inhale, calm, clarity, softness, strength, or trust.
Let your nervous system register that it is safe to let go.

Quietly set an intention for the year ahead, such as:
“I choose to move forward grounded, supported, and connected to myself.”
Stay here for a few breaths, allowing your body to integrate the shift.
