When We Stop Avoiding Ourselves, Things Begin to Heal
Embodiment is about being in your body… comfortably.
It’s about feeling at home within yourself. It is the experience of being fully and deeply connected — body, mind, and spirit — rather than living only in your thoughts, responsibilities, or survival patterns. True embodiment means allowing all parts of you to exist.
The shame.
The hurt.
The rage.
The tenderness.
The desire.
The power.
Nothing excluded. Nothing pushed away.
Because the truth is, the force of your energy is far stronger than you realise. You are far stronger than you realise.
Your emotions are not random. They are intelligent signals. Energy — emotion — shows up for a reason. It is an invisible communication system within you that asks for your attention. Not to overwhelm you. But to guide you back to yourself.
Like a small child tugging gently at your skirt…wanting to be seen…to be felt…to be heard. Your inner world is doing the same thing. Your energy — your inner child — is reaching for you from within, asking for presence, compassion, and connection.
And when you respond…when you listen instead of suppress…when you allow instead of resist, something begins to soften. Something begins to heal, and you return home to yourself.
My own embodiment lesson this week showed up in parenting.
I felt called to have deeper conversations with my family, to not back away from the hard task of parenting, but to lean into it. To really delve into the feelings, thoughts, and stories that have been playing out in our home.
It required presence, patience, and purpose. We needed to be completely present with each other, and to accept everyone’s views and experiences, even when they were different.
We had to keep our goal in mind… our purpose… To create a happy and good life together. To work as a team. To speak kindly. To take responsibility for ourselves.
Now, you might think — well, you’ve been parenting for over 16 years… surely this gets easier.
But the truth is — the deep conversations are never easy.
They always require our presence. Our patience. Our willingness to stay focused on what really matters. Because when we do that…we create more connection. More pleasure. More good times.
If we gave up on ourselves… if we surrendered to hopelessness… if we avoided the arguments or other people’s feelings or opinions… Nothing would ever change.
Growth requires us to stay present. So I want to encourage you gently, to take the lead in your own life.
You have this one beautiful life. What are you going to do with it?
This is the work I do with women every day. Not fixing you. Not changing who you are. But helping you come home to yourself.
Through hypnotherapy and coaching, we work with your nervous system, your subconscious patterns, and your emotional energy, so the parts of you that have been holding tension, fear, overwhelm, or old stories can finally feel safe enough to release.
Because healing doesn’t happen through force. It happens through safety. Through awareness.
Through connection. When your body feels safe… your mind becomes clearer. Your emotions become easier to navigate. And your natural confidence and energy begin to return.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself… stuck in your head… emotionally overwhelmed… or simply tired of carrying everything alone. You don’t have to do it by yourself anymore.
Reconnect. Heal. Align.
I offer personalised Hypnosis and Coaching sessions, and deeper transformation journeys designed to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and create lasting change from the inside out.
If this speaks to you, you’re warmly invited to reach out or book a session here.
Your body already knows the way. Sometimes you just need someone to walk beside you as you return.
With peace and love, Toni xx
