What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis explained

Hypnosis is hands down one of my favourite ways to help create change efficiently and effectively. I have personally used this powerful tool to calm anxiety, quit smoking, with relationships and gaining confidence. It is such a beautiful and relaxing experience, each therapist is different and brings their own magic to the session. The therapist talks to you using hypnotic language and takes you into a trance state, which is the space between sleeping and waking we call the alpha frequency.

In this trance state called Hypnosis, you become more open to suggestions. You become highly focused and may experience a heightened responsiveness to ideas and images.

This altered state of consciousness allows access to the subconscious mind, where beliefs, memories, and emotions are stored. This is why hypnosis is used for therapeutic purposes, such as addressing behavioral issues, overcoming fears, or promoting positive changes.

What you need to know

It’s essential to know that entering a trance state is a natural phenomenon experienced by individuals in everyday life, such as when deeply engrossed in a book, daydreaming, or driving on autopilot. Hypnosis is a natural state that people may enter into willingly, and it is not a form of mind control. The individual retains control and cannot be made to do anything against their will.

It is important to come to Hypnosis willingly, open and ready for change. If you want to feel calmer, lose weight or create more energy than perfect, if you are not willing or ready, hypnosis is not for you, yet.

If you are stuck at the “I am not ready, I can’t do it, I’m not enough” stage then I suggest we work on the old beliefs keeping you stuck in my One on One Coaching program. The deep healing work we do in this 8 week course, will get you ready for the life you are only dreaming of and willing and ready to live it.
